Rwanda NOC and World Aquatics Engineers Select Site for National Swimming Center

As the fourth stop in the Global Youth Drowning Prevention Base Initiative, Mashami, Secretary General of the Rwanda National Olympic Committee, and Cynthia, President of the Rwanda Swimming Federation, met with World Aquatics Senior Engineers Zhou Xiang and Lu Jie (Yinghui Sports).

Together, they conducted professional assessments of four proposed sites and selected the most suitable location for the construction of a National Olympic Swimming Center and a Youth Drowning Prevention Base.

This milestone marks another important step in strengthening aquatic sports infrastructure and promoting youth water safety in Rwanda and across Africa.
