When removing debris from your field such as leaves and dirt, a broom and dustpan usually does the job. Removing stains from your tiles is unlikely, but if necessary, you may use soap and water.
Snow or ice will not harm these tiles and neither will the UV rays from the sun. The design of this tile is based on the fact that the sub-surface has been built with a natural slope and drain. The modular system allows for air circulation.
Any debris that falls through the tile will flush through the legs underneath; therefore, when it rains it is self-cleaning to a certain point. You may also use a garden hose or pressure washer to help flush debris.
If you ever need to remove a tile or section to assess or clean the sub-surface, all that is needed is insert a painter's 6-1 tool between the seams of the tiles and unsnap the locks. Once you have removed a few tiles most of the floor can be unzipped by hand in large sections.
